the GazettE concert in Munich (personal post)

Date: June 18th 2019
City: Munich
Venue: Werk, Backstage

Tenth time I see them. It was extremely hot weather. I had a vip ticket. The concert was great, as always. Ruki apologized later for his voice, but I didn’t notice any problems. Meet&Greet was scheduled to after concert. I thanked them for coming to Europe and praised their concert. To Kai I bursted out in a “you are so cute”. It was spontaneous. Hard to resist just like his smile. Most of the merchandise was sold out from previous gigs.

Unfortunately, this was for me a pretty bad experience. Not because of the band, but because of the venue. It was extremely hot and became very humid by sweat. There didn’t seem to be any air conditioning at all. 3-4 times I had to leave the venue and go out to the fresh air to breathe. I felt I was about to faint. The water was expensive and the line to the bar was way too long and warm to stand in more than once or twice. The venue stole a big part of the experience from me. 😦 According to the GazettE’s tweets, they suffered from the heat as well.

But I hope they come back.

Ruki:

Google Translate: “Thank you München🔥🇩🇪 !! Today was a great show again. But I’m sorry because my throat was a little bad.
The cheers of all helped me a lot,
Thank you very much, I’ll be back to deliver the best sound again, so please wait for Munich bye.
We love all of you!”

Aoi:

Google Translate: “Hmm. Z that has been exhausted indeed! Faint, I’ll make a mistake, and my life is zero. Still, it’s a irreplaceable of fun and memories 😋. Germany night is late while thinking that it is good if such a day continues for a long time. Thank you very much for 🇩🇪 coming to Munich.”

“Thank you very much for coming to München.
I will see you again”

Uruha:

Google translate: “The live at Backstage Werk was really hot!
Perhaps it was hotter than the venue I had ever done, and I felt like I was playing live in the sauna. Lol
I thought that I was jealous, but in such an environment, I felt that “the voice is fragile” was quite pleasant. It may have been noticed that the ballad is the one in the limit state that is emo.
During that time, I knew that there was an earthquake with a strength of 6 in Niigata in Japan, but I could not get much information, but I am worried about the safety of people in Niigata and the surrounding area … Well.”

Reita:

Google Translate: “Thank you very much.🇩🇪
REITA is dead☠️
It was the hottest LIVE in my life.
I will die if I taste more heat than this
Thank you 😘”

Kai:

Google Translate: “Many Thanks.
It was great Munich.

Welcome! This is not an actual news site but a personal blog, run by an ordinary person who loves visual kei. This is my space where I ventilate thoughts and values and shares happenings within the scene. My goal is to make information easy to access and to support artists and movements that I admire. Especially smaller bands that need an extra push in the djungle of major bands. English is not my native tounge so please condone my linguistic mistakes.
