DIE/MAY’s vocalist SEIKE has departed due to personal reasons and will temporarily be on hiatus.
DIE/MAY’s album “ODIUM” will hence be postponed.
This is SEIKE’s own words:
“Regarding my departure from DIE/MAY I owe you the truth.
It is very hard to keep a band active when living in different countries. It worked for some time but the current situation is not sustainable. This decision was made by the members and I agree.
I let the band down since I couldn’t give my best and keep deadlines due to my depressions the past year. It’s time for me to realize that I hold creative people back by not being 100% focused, not because I don’t want to but because it’s impossible with everything that I’ve been involved with at the same time.
They deserve a vocalist as ambitious as themselves who can give everything to achieve their common goal.
I am eternally grateful for the years and moments together with DIE/MAY, and I’m proud of everything we achieved during our journey.
We are still good friends and I will always support them with all of my heart!”
