One of my favorite dishes in Japan is Takoyaki. It’s a ball made of a wheat flour-based batter and usually filled with octopus and topped with tempura scraps, pickled ginger and green onion. It’s cooked in as special takoyaki pan.
This video shows a pretty cool automatic takoyaki pan that you can use at home. It looks so easy, even for a disaster in the kitchen like me. You don’t even have to flip the balls for even cooking surface.
