And there came the news. 😦
BLACK LINE went on hiatus last December and we mostly heard news about the vocalist Mikaru’s solo project G.L.A.M.S after that. However, BLACK LINE made a comeback some months later and released “THIS IS WAR”. That will unfortunately be their last album, ’cause on December 16th this year – the band will disband.
There last live will be at Otsuka DEEPA (December 16th), the very same place where their story once started.
There is no detailed reason behind the decision but Mikaru has posted the following on his Facebook page:
“I’m sorry in the sad announcement.
It was decided to discuss the band.
I wanted to keep the black line.
World of the black line, songs, members. I like all.
But it wasn’t possible unfortunately.
It’s very sad.
You only live once.
For me, even for them, there is a dream for each.
I respect them, they respect me.
We are very good friends.
Black line and Dio is family to me. Forever.
Songs and memories are my treasure.
Thank you for your support the black line.
Please watch over their activities in the future.”
Mikaru will keep being active with his solo project G.L.A.M.S. after this.
