YOHIO documentary episode 4 (translation)

I’ve been asked by the Fanclub of Yohio in Chile to translate some episodes of his documentary and will post the translations here as well.

So here you go. This is what’s being said in the 4th episode of YOHIO’s documentary:

Translation

[In the studio]

YOHIO:
What the fuck is this. How do people get my number? Can you answer?

Patrik:
Hi, it’s Patrik. No, you’ve got the wrong number. Bye.

YOHIO

YOHIO:
How do they get my number? I get annoyed? It’s not public! It has been removed everywhere. I should get someone else who answers my answering machine. Hi, you’ve called the wrong number.

Patrik:
Irrespective of who you were supposed to call, this is the wrong number. *laughs*

[Skiing area]

Tommy:
The only thing you need to do is to take the boat and it’s only 500 meters. You don’t need to take the funicular railway above the water either. It’s like computer games. You don’t need to be in a room with spiders. I think that if it’s a good team with real celebrities, it can be a good thing to do. If you think this is a fun thing to do.

YOHIO:
I don’t think I will find it fun.

YOHIO

Tommy:
Ok, then you just say no.

[Sveriges Television]

YOHIO:
I can live the rockstar life at the moment. It requires more work, but it’s fun with TV stuff and interviews even when it’s tiresome. This was my dream, and now when I’m finally living it, I find it more tiresome than I expected.

YOHIO:
I don’t like to go that close to the rail. Omg, what a narrow bridge! You pass it! I get panic. Oh stop! You don’t understand my fright of heights! It’s mean! Go in!

Interviewer:
It’s been a lot about you the last months. What do you think you mean to your fans?

YOHIO:
At the moment I mean a lot to them. But some of the fans get different idols each and every week.

YOHIO

Interviewer:
You don’t trust your fans?

YOHIO:
No, not like that. But I’m realistic. I know how it works. You should not expect too much of people, things are the way they are. Why some of them have changed their opinion is ’cause I attended in Sweden’s biggest TV show.

Interviewer:
You should not think you are special.

YOHIO:
No, you really shouldn’t.

Interviewer:
The old law of Jante.

[People get YOHIO posters]

YOHIO:
I know that all this can end anytime. I enjoy it as long as I can.

[YOHIO signs Fan cards]

YOHIO:
Really big artists use stamps. I don’t think it feels OK, actually. It doesn’t get that personal. I must write 3000 today, but it’s OK.

Tommy:
On Tuesday they will have this course and maybe you could teach them some moves.

YOHIO:
Am I supposed to sign this entire box?

YOHIO

Tommy:
Do as much as you can.

YOHIO: *Sigh* *humming*

YOHIO:
In the beginning, this was supposed to be a star. Like this. But this one got ugly. The most important thing is that it starts with a “Y”, but then it may be random.

[YOHIO watches Obscure by Dir En Grey on Youtube]

YOHIO:
I didn’t plan to become a great children’s idol. This is what I listen to myself. So going from this to Bolibompa… (Swedish children’s show)

YOHIO

YOHIO:
Bolibompa. Oh my god, what have I become.

[Title: Sundsvall County has invited YOHIO for lunch]

WoMan:
Hello! Your hand is so cold!

YOHIO:
Yes, it’s cold outside.

YOHIO:
Then I sit down.

Man:
Now when we have a person that in so many positive ways advertises Sundsvall…

YOHIO:
I know I have influenced a lot of people in a good way. I’m not only thinking that I will be the world greatest musicians for my own sake, I really want to change things. It’s for the sake of others, not mine.

YOHIO:
Korea has already fallen, just like USA. It’s disgusting.

YOHIO: Oh thank you!

YOHIO:
They don’t have any Lady Gaga directly. Japan is a very neat country when it comes to music, they aren’t filthy. They still got lyrics with meaning, it’s not only dance and shake your booty. I don’t want that to be ruined.

Man:
What is your dream?

YOHIO:
Now when I can inspire so many young people to do what they want… even kids on daycare says “I can do as YOHIO, I can do what I want”… I want to do that all over the world.
*applause*

Man:
We are extremely proud of that you are from here. Sundsvall loves YOHIO. Good luck!

YOHIO

YOHIO:
It’s great to have support from the entire county. It didn’t used to be like that when I was less famous. It’s a quite cool change. I would never believe this when I was thirteen years old. Not in a million of years.

[YOHIO walks the streets]

YOHIO:
I’ve always been that person who sits in the back of the classroom or in the back of the bus. I always want to be able to see everybody else from behind where no one can see me.

YOHIO:
It’s been comments like faggot, homo, emo… all these words people has been screaming after me. If anyone approached me, I just smiled and walked away. After a while they lost interest in bugging me since it didn’t break me.

[YOHIO and friends sits in a sofa]

Girl:
Our class was kind of divided. It was the nerds and the cool guys… the sports guys and the geeks. But you were the ones we liked better than the cool guys… or that we at least should have liked more.

YOHIO: [can’t hear]

Girl:
But I was never more with them than with you.

YOHIO:
Sometime you were.

Girl:
Maybe, but not much.

YOHIO:
Exactly.

YOHIO

Boy:
You are a chick magnet. When you’re young, you don’t really have the same interests.

YOHIO:
It’s not until sixth grade that you start to get depressed concerning girls.

Girl:
Your biggest problem back then was that someone spin when you were fighting with sticks or something.

YOHIO:
Yeah, but it’s painful if someone spins. You can’t fight with sticks like this, and then someone spins… you must duck.

YOHIO:
The funniest thing right now is that all fans writing to me are ten years old. It’s that exact age when we didn’t have any girls.

Girl:
You were so tiny!

YOHIO:
Yeah, yeah, yeah….

[YOHIO’s father with the YOHIO dragon]

Tommy:
The Dragon that got the YOHIO style. Very nice. Really cool. I will take a picture of this. A really nice gesture really.

YOHIO

YOHIO:[Can’t hear, something about scaring children]

[YOHIO at the Bolibompa studio]

YOHIO:
Oh my god, how scary. The person has commented: “I know where he lives, exactly which house and everything. If you’re a big fan than you do anything to get information about YOHIO.” NO! If you’re a stalker… THEN you know where I live… idiot.

YOHIO

YOHIO:
Moo.

WoMan:
Let’s roll?

WoMan:
Yes!

WoMan:
The kids have been able to ask questions and we’ve got 9000 questions to you.

Program host:
Can you dance Gangnam Style?

YOHIO:
No, I can’t actually dance Gangnam Style.

YOHIO

[Title: Fan-meeting – Ninetone Studio in Sundsvall]

YOHIO:
The good thing like having an audience is that you can inspire in a good way, so they will grow up with less prejudices and easier accept things.

YOHIO

Girl:
Everybody tries to be the same and if you’re not, yeah, it’s like your a different kind of people.

YOHIO:
We will change that. But I can only change you so you can change them. I’m Jesus and you are my disciples.

Girl:
He’s not like all other celebrities.

Girl:
Not like cheesy Eric Saade-guys. He’s not popular, only sissy.

YOHIO:
Keep being smart kids.

Girl:
Thank you so much!

YOHIO

YOHIO:
This is what matters. When you see there’s a difference.

Welcome! This is not an actual news site but a personal blog, run by an ordinary person who loves visual kei. This is my space where I ventilate thoughts and values and shares happenings within the scene. My goal is to make information easy to access and to support artists and movements that I admire. Especially smaller bands that need an extra push in the djungle of major bands. English is not my native tounge so please condone my linguistic mistakes.
