Japanese square water melons

You might have seen pictures of these Japanese square shaped watermelons and… they are actually real. 🙂

They are made this way for more efficient stacking and are grown in exact dimensions of Japanese refrigerators. How do they do it? Not that hard to figure out maybe. They are grown inside square glass cases and naturally takes that shape.

These square water melons are more expensive than round ones though.

Japanese are geniuses when it comes to save space. ^^
