Two days ago, the world’s oldest man – Japanese Jiroemon Kimura – died. He was 116 years old.

According to The Guardian, he became the oldest man ever. He outlived 4 emperors and 61 prime ministers in Japan, and died by natural cause at a hospital in his hometown Kyotango.

Kimura was born 1897 and it was 2012 that he got the title “oldest man on earth” when Dina Manfredini passed away. At that time he was 115 years och 253 days old.

He had 7 kids, 14 grand children, 25 grand grand children and 13 grand grand grand children. Most of them are still alive.
