73 years old Japanese creates amazing art in Excel

You know Excel right? The world famous spreadsheet program that can be used for storing, organizing and manipulating data.

I use it myself for different kinds of formulas and calculations and have been using it for many, many years but NEVER did the thought come across that I could make art of it!

The following artwork is created by a 73 year old Japanese man and believe it or not – he made it in Excel!

His name is Tatsuo Horiuchi and he says this:

“Other specialized graphic software is expensive, and Excel came pre-installed in PCs,”

“I saw other people neatly drawing graphs, and I thought it seemed like Excel could be used to draw art.”
