In memory of hide #4

After the violation of hide’s grave, I’ve decided to dedicate this week to him; to honor his memory in times when others don’t. This is for all of you who loves hide.

It’s hard to choose a favorite song with hide, but I think that “Dice” is closest to my heart. Let’s watch it.

Some fun information: The black mask was designed by H.R. Giger. (you know – the one who designed Alien…)

Released January 21, 1994

Dice

Music: hide
Lyrics: hide

Lyrics translated into English:

Everything before my eyes look like demons
I’m hunted by the weight of ceaseless time
And ghosts of the past
I’m swallowed and shoved
as I rot and scatter
Cut off the pipes of consciousness and slay the cross

Let’s bloom a flower to your desire
Before it is torn off and wilted
One day the bud will become a flower
Spit its ideals at you and tell you

In those arms, carry all the dreams you can
Let’s head out to the vision-less sea
If everything you see has changed drastically
Hold on to your dreams and fall asleep

If you reach your arms they’ll brush you away and disappear into pieces

The cost of frailty used unwisely oozing libido
Struggling through pain yet You understand the reason of existence
Your reflection in the mirror begs you to tell him

Let’s water your dried flowers in you
If that soul doesn’t die
Either bloom distortedly or end in misery
A dice of one out of the two

Let’s bloom a flower t your desire
Before it is teared off and wilted
One day the bud will become a flower
Spit it’s yesterday at you and tell you

Once and for all, Dice away
Once and for all, Dice away
Once and for all, Dice away
Up to you

Welcome! This is not an actual news site but a personal blog, run by an ordinary person who loves visual kei. This is my space where I ventilate thoughts and values and shares happenings within the scene. My goal is to make information easy to access and to support artists and movements that I admire. Especially smaller bands that need an extra push in the djungle of major bands. English is not my native tounge so please condone my linguistic mistakes.
