In memory of hide #1

After the violation of hide’s grave, I’ve decided to dedicate this week to him and X-Japan; to honor his memory in times when others don’t. This is for all of you who loves hide.

Hideto hide Matsumoto

I’ll start with something that might cheer us up a little. It might be needed, since I guess a lot of you – just like me – got very upset by the news.

This is an very old TV-reportage where a silly looking reporter knocks on the door to a very young Yoshiki. They take a look at his apartment and I must say that Yoshiki’s hair was awesome back then. I’m sorry for the bad quality. As I said, it’s an old video. First there’s an interview that unfortunately isn’t subbed in English, and then follows silly games which seems to be popular in Japan.

Some claims that this is hide’s first performance as a X-member. The funniest part is when they visit a restaurant and a bit blunt performs the song “Orgasm”. Here you get a good look at the young hide. The girls at the restaurant probably had no idea that these guys would become such great legends one day.

Well, if I had been sitting there, I would probably wonder what the heck these guys were doing. The climax of this video is when Toshi climbs up on the guests chairs and by accident breaks the interior. Awkward moment I guess. Even a tough guy like Toshi got disconcerted. ^^

I just love to watch this.

Welcome! This is not an actual news site but a personal blog, run by an ordinary person who loves visual kei. This is my space where I ventilate thoughts and values and shares happenings within the scene. My goal is to make information easy to access and to support artists and movements that I admire. Especially smaller bands that need an extra push in the djungle of major bands. English is not my native tounge so please condone my linguistic mistakes.
