Tyresta virgin forest

Tomorrow, Toyooka-san will return to Japan and there was one thing left that I wanted to show him: Tyresta virgin forest.

I took him to Tyresta and we strolled around in the nature for some hours. Unfortunately, spring hasn’t arrived fully to Sweden yet and the broad-leaved trees still lacks of leaves and color. But there was luscious moss and green coniferous trees. We heard a Great Spotted Woodpecker and Black Woodpecker, and found traces from squirrels.

The nature is lovely. Even in the winter.

We took a walk to Bylsjön (a lake) at which we sat a while, looked at the ducks and munched on some “fika”, gingerbread and milk.

Then we headed back to the bus-stop. We were lucky, ’cause just when we had to jump on the last bus back to Handen, it started to rain.

We returned to Stockholm, ’cause Toyooka-san wanted to eat meatballs and mashed potatoes at restaurant Kvarnen again. Somehow I persuade him into ordering my favorite dish instead: lightly salted hand of pork and sauerkraut. I think he liked it. 🙂

It feels a little bit sad that he will be leaving, ’cause I have enjoyed his company so much. But I hope we will meet again. Maybe in Japan next time…? 😀

Welcome! This is not an actual news site but a personal blog, run by an ordinary person who loves visual kei. This is my space where I ventilate thoughts and values and shares happenings within the scene. My goal is to make information easy to access and to support artists and movements that I admire. Especially smaller bands that need an extra push in the djungle of major bands. English is not my native tounge so please condone my linguistic mistakes.
