I went to the convent directly, located at a youth clubs called Arenan. As usual I felt like oldest among all attendants and unfortunately I was one of the few that went there without company. (I say it again: I would love some friends who shares my interest, but it seem to be a never-ending-stoy in my life when it comes to solitary hobbies and activities. That’s how it is when you’re not like everybody else.)
The building was full of cosplayers, lolitas and jrockers.
Some of them were competing in cosplay competitions, but personally i think that a custom must been made by the cosplayer herself – not bought.
There was a karaoke room where you could sing anime theme songs, jrock, jpop, kpop and so on… They had so many songs that I loved… They usually hold these karaoke events in Stockholm which I defintely will visit.
Sometimes it’s easier to get to know new people when you’re visiting a place by youself and that was what I was hoping for. It didn’t take so long before I felt that I’d made some friends at the convent.
I talked the most to a very pretty lolita named Disa, but called Misa from the girl in Death Note manga. She’s one of those that manage the japanese Karaoke events called Raison d’être.
