Sjätte tunnan with Toyooka-san

Me and Toyooka-san went to “Sjätte Tunnan”, a restaurant with medieval theme in Gamla Stan.

I ordered mead and it was absolutely delicious. We got initially served bread with some kind of cheese spiced with pepper and ginger (we think). Irrespective, it was very delicious.

I really like the atmosphere at Sjätte Tunnan. It feels like you’ve traveled back in time. The walls and roof is all made of stone and the room is shaped like a tunnel. The tables are simple in wood and the benches are covered by fur. Shields and axes decorates the walls.

Authentic medieval environment.

Toyooka-san ordered wild boar, which he hasn't eaten before.

He said that it tasted really good so maybe I’ll try that dish next time. It got served with blueberries. He told me that there’s a lot of wild boars in Kobe where he grew up but they are not to eat.

Welcome! This is not an actual news site but a personal blog, run by an ordinary person who loves visual kei. This is my space where I ventilate thoughts and values and shares happenings within the scene. My goal is to make information easy to access and to support artists and movements that I admire. Especially smaller bands that need an extra push in the djungle of major bands. English is not my native tounge so please condone my linguistic mistakes.
