HITT concert in Haninge, Stockholm, Sweden

Finally. After a hard days work, me and Jocke headed to Haninge to see HITT live. I was so excited, ’cause it would be the first time for me seeing him perform.

It was extremely cold outside and we had to queue for almost an hour. While we were waiting, he suddenly appeared in a window and waved to us. Weeh, how often do that happen? But I’ve always wondered how often the musicians sneak up on their fans, just to get a peak before the concert.

When they let us in, me and Jocke were forbidden to enter, since they had a control with a breathalyzer that registered that we had been drinking alcohol. We only had a beer after work so I got pretty upset – and relieved when they finally let us pass with the words “If the cop shows up, you run, ok?” That’s the downside with concerts where the majority of the fans are underage…

Hitt writes his own music and play all instruments himself. I believe he originally was a bass-player but today his music is most characterized by his piano-playing. I think he’s amazing when it comes to compose beautiful melodies, that’s what I absolutely love about him. If you haven’t listened to HITT yet, I think you should do that.

It was a small concert and a tiny stage. HITT's fanbase is obvioulsy not that big in Sweden and that breaks my heart. He deserves so much more. We can't have been more than approximately 20-30 people in the audience and to be honest - I didn't need my gigantic shoes to get a good view.

Hitt was energetic, gorgeous, charming, funny and had a great charisma. He played a lot of my favourite songs like I'm crazy for you, Desolé, Sexy Galaxy, Kakkotsuke Man, Jesse, Rendez-vous etc.

He interacted a lot with the audience, danced para-para with us, tried to talk swedish, took up girls on the stage and danced with them, borrowed someones glasses etc. At one time he stepped up on a chair and pressed his hand against the ceiling. Probably a bad idea since he broke the roof a little bit. At first he tried to fix it (while singing) but then he let it be. That was hilarious. ^^

I never got the opportunity to reach his hand during the concert, so afterward I approached him, shook his hand and thanked him for the great concert. Iiih. :-)

It was a lovely concert and I hope to see him again soon. Maybe at a bigger stage with a huge amount of fans around me. ^^

HITT had this lovely top with spiderweb design in the back. The photo is HITTs, not mine.

We were allowed to take photos during the first two songs. Usually you’re not allowed to do that at all at jrock concerts. I also filmed some, but got soooo disappointing at home when I noticed that there was no sound!

Well, I did what I could with the material I had and you can watch it below. I chose to accompany the film with his song “I’m crazy for you”.

Please have a look!

Welcome! This is not an actual news site but a personal blog, run by an ordinary person who loves visual kei. This is my space where I ventilate thoughts and values and shares happenings within the scene. My goal is to make information easy to access and to support artists and movements that I admire. Especially smaller bands that need an extra push in the djungle of major bands. English is not my native tounge so please condone my linguistic mistakes.
