Miyavi in Stockholm, Fryshuset

I haven’t written in this blog for a while. That’s ’cause I’ve had a little rough time lately, for different reasons, and I guess I needed to hide my face from the world for a little while.

Anyway, yesterday, April the 12th, I saw Miyavi perform here in Sweden, Stockholm (for my second time) and it was awesome.

The coolest guy in town...

The coolest guy in town…

He has so much talent and energy that just makes me dizzy, happy and ecstatic. He’s fingers plays the guitar faster than my brain manage to perceive. Watching his funny expressions and how he held his guitar behind his neck, while still playing, was awesome. He also made the entire audience stand completely silent and still for a long while, praying for Japan due to his peoples’ times of trials. It was emotional.

This concert was a little bit different from the last one. The music was more experimental and the only guys on stage was himself and his drummer who just like in the Survive video wore tight, funny-looking bathing trunks (that’s what it looked like anyway).

There were quite many people in the audience, which gladden me.

I got a little bit annoyed when I entered the hall though, since the guards took my bottle of water. I tend to get dehydrated on concerts due to heat and physically exhaustion so I thought it would be a life-saver to bring some water with me.

Share your water, Miyavi-sama!

They ensured me that I would be able to get water inside, and yes I were – if I payed for it! How the heck can they forbid people from bringing water and then charge them for it inside? There were girls who passed out, dehydrated, and had to be carried away. Their experience of this concert got ruined. Naw, that’s not ok.

But that’s not Miyavi’s fault and I didn’t pass out. I enjoyed the concert fully, even though I got a lot of pain in neck and back quit quickly. I think my body needs to get some training again.

Miyavi, “We love you!”

Welcome! This is not an actual news site but a personal blog, run by an ordinary person who loves visual kei. This is my space where I ventilate thoughts and values and shares happenings within the scene. My goal is to make information easy to access and to support artists and movements that I admire. Especially smaller bands that need an extra push in the djungle of major bands. English is not my native tounge so please condone my linguistic mistakes.
