I headed to Stockholm (again) to see MUCC’s performance.
I been a fan of those MUCC-guys for quite a while and always wanted to see them live, so I was really excited. As you might guess, MUCC is a Japanese rock band.
The MUCC concert was absolutely wonderful. Heavy japanese rock, headbanging and morphine is a confusing mixture – but I loved their performance and had a great time. The music was really rough and heavy and Tatsuro had this crazy eyes when he gazed over the audience.
As many other Japanese artists, they tried to speak Swedish. I love that part. I must say that they were quite good at it. I don’t remember much of it now though, but I remember that Tatsuro said “Ni är bäst” (“You are the best”, in Swedish) and, yeah, that’s true.
The set-list was great and they played a lot of my very favorites songs – I must say that their latest album is quite a good one. ^^ As other Japanese artists, they seemed very humble and polite at stage – no unnecessary rudeness or “we-are-so-fuckin-tough”-attitude. I like that. Heavy tunes and artist smiling coyly ^_-, that’s cool for real.
At one point, Tatsuro told us all to sit down on the floor so our upcoming jump would be the highest ever. Quite funny idea. ^^ And we all sat down.
Wanna see some MUCC in action? Here’s a video clip taken by another guy in the audience:
I can’t wait to see MUCC again.
They told us that they would come back… ^^
