The flight to Japan

Josefin and I got a ride by my father to the Landvetter Airport in Gothenburg. I wasn’t nervous at all, strangely enough. I just felt a calm hopefulness.

Everything went very well. we checked in our luggage and got on the plane.

Landvetter in Gothenburg

Tip: If you’ve traveled with plane before, you probably now that you can’t bring any fluids or pointy objects in your hand luggage. (Get rid of shampoo, soap, nail-files etc.) I totally forgot about my bottle of water in my backpack, which delayed us at the security control. Throw it away, you can buy more water in the tax-free stores.

After one and a half hour, we landed in Helsinki, Finland. We had to wait a couple of hours before we could get on the plane to Osaka, so we relaxed with some refreshment and wondered if all the Asians among us was going to Japan as well.

And then we jumped on next plane. We traveled with Finnair.

Tip: Finnair airline offers a lot of trips to Asia to beneficial prices. A round trip to Osaka cost us ~9000 crowns ($1154). Take a look at their homepage:

The journey took approximately thirteen hours (two hours wait in Helsinki included). The nine hours on the plane heading for Osaka didn’t feel so bad after all since we were served food (with an Asian touch) and drinks (who says no to free wine?). Since it got dark eventually, we also got the opportunity to get some sleep.

Welcome! This is not an actual news site but a personal blog, run by an ordinary person who loves visual kei. This is my space where I ventilate thoughts and values and shares happenings within the scene. My goal is to make information easy to access and to support artists and movements that I admire. Especially smaller bands that need an extra push in the djungle of major bands. English is not my native tounge so please condone my linguistic mistakes.
