I hadn’t really recovered from either my GazettE concerts or my sickness, but that doesn’t matter, ’cause Gackt was coming to town to be a guest at YOHIO’s finale gig at Annexet here in Stockholm.

Gackt and YOHIO in Sweden:
Teaser pics on Twitter…
Me and Jessica arrived pretty late around entering time, but still got a decent spot in the line.
On our way we found the NINETONE tourbus parked behind a toilet. ^_-
Jessica waiting in cold and rain:
The line behind us become very very long. Longer than the picture shows. Imagine that the line continues behind me, and then makes a bend to the left and continues far away behind the buildings.
Finally inside the venue. We ended up on second row behind the second crush barrier. We would be able to see all faces on stage clear. Great!
While waiting for the concert to start, they were playing Versailles in the arena. I wonder how many in the audience who know which Versailles is/was. Jessica and I was definitely among the oldest, if we exclude all parents. I have a hard time to guess children’s age, but I would guess the average age was approximately 13…. I truly felt old. *lol*
It was a lot of people in the venue.
Ok, the concert started with 2013 – Beginning if the End-. The guitarist, bassist and drummer from DESAIHA entered the stage and threw roses to the audience. Last came YOHIO.
They started to play MY MURDEREOUS URGE.
YOHIO wore black, shimmering clothes and had silver dyed hair. Most of his hair was combed forward and formed a pointy bang. It looked really nice. I like that outfit too, very nice. Except that pink fluffy west with silver-heart one the back. ^_- He acted very professionally and it’s actually quite fascinating to watch such a young man with so much star quality.
Next song was REACH. YOHIO’s voice is great live and you couldn’t see any signs of exhaustion from his previous lives.
Next song, REVOLUTION. People was singing along. After that, YOHIO held a speech about dreams and of course that speech got followed up by Dawn of dreams. The audience got crazy when YOHIO gave the guitarist a kiss on his cheek.
Then it was time for one of my and Jessica’s favorites: INNOCENCE! More growl and screaming, YOHIO.
Then… BREAK THE BORDER. YOHIO held a speech again first. He looked down on a girl in the audience and said: “You can’t cry already. I haven’t begun singing yet. It will be OK. Sing along instead!”
People was constantly screaming and clapping hands.
When YOHIO drank water with his back towards us he suddenly said: “I love you too. That’s right. I can hear you. I can hear each any everyone of you.” (People was screaming that they loved him)
I must say that was a pretty unique response from an artist. I have never heard it before.
YOHIO told us that next song was dedicated his grand mother who passed away two years ago. Time for rain ~A scene drenched in rain~.
This performance was very emotional and YOHIO made the audience sing the chorus all by themselves.
Then time for ON THE VERGE.
After this, YOHIO left stage and the guitarist and bass-player (Marcus and Fredrik) talked a lot with us, danced and were funny, made us do the “wave” and so on. Apparently this whole concert is going to be released on a DVD.
YOHIO enters the stage again with changed clothing. He wore some kind of black sweatshirt that I first thought was a poncho, very short in the waist and very big in the neck. He sang Without Wings and I got surprised how well the young audience sang along in Japanese.
Then it was time for the big, big guest. YOHIO wanted us to remember this day ’cause we were going to make history.
Gackt enters the stage *wuaaaah*. He wore a wine-red leather jacket and grey t-shirt under. His hair was brown-reddish and styled almost as a mohawk. He smiled modest and said:
“What’s up Sweden!? Do you have a good time? DO YOU HAVE A GOOD TIME!?”
People screamed but Gackt wasn’t satisfied:
“Oh, that’s it….? You can do better than that…”
Then he started slowly with:
“Show me… SHOW ME… HOW… MUCH… YOU… “
Here, both me and Jessica got a little bit paralyzed, ’cause last time we heard him saying that was under his YFC-gig where he ended up saying something that WOULD NOT BE for children’s ears. ^^
But Gackt was very innocent this time. he said:
“Show me… SHOW ME… HOW… MUCH… YOU… LOVE…. HIM!”
He pointed at YOHIO. People screamed. YOHIO replied with:
“OK now, show me how much you love him!”
People screamed for Gackt. YOHIO continued:
“He came all the way from Japan to play for you guys. Show him what Swedens got!”
And then followd a duet with YOHIO and Gackt, as expected: Sakura, Chiru.
Unfortunately, people was screaming like crazy during this song. Swedish audience is not Japanese and don’t know when it’s time to be quiet and show respect for emotional songs.
Sometimes when YOHIO and Gackt moved around on stage their fingers touched and in the end, in the dark, they hugged each other. Very sweet.
Gackt shouted: “I love you sweden!” and left the stage. YOHIO got a white guitar in his hands. Time to see him the way I want to: as an amazing guitar-player.
YOHIO played Frantic Elegance, Aggressive beauty and I norrländska skogars dvala.
Then it was time for a cover. I think you know who I’m talking about. YOHIO told us that they the other days had rehearsed in a hall very close to that place where Ted Gärdestad jumped in front of the train and killed himself. “I think he heard us playing his song”, said YOHIO. “You should know the lyrics. At least you parents should know the lyrics to this song.” So it was time for Himlen är oskyldigt blå.
Then YOHIO played a song I actually didn’t recognize and it was in Japanese. Maybe it’s a new song? Sounded a bit oshare kei, ala an cafe.
Then they played You’re the one and Our Story.
YOHIO told us how important it is to drink water during concerts like these and that people already had passed out. It’s good that he teaches the young ones this. They he held a speech about respecting each other, irrespective of who you are or what you want to be.
And then… time for GACKT!
Gackt entered the stage again. He had changed to a black leather jacket. He said:
“Hello Sweden! We are family right? Can I talk with you for a minute? I just want to say I’m very honored to be here. I’m extremely honered to share this stage with my younger brother. We dedicate the next song to you. We are always with you. Remember, you are not alone.”
So YOHIO and Gackt sang the YFC song Not alone together.
YOHIO gave Gackt a kiss on his cheek and in the end of the song they gave each other a looooong hug.
Gackt looked playful when he said: “See you soon… Sweden!” and left the stage for the second time.
Hm… I wonder if he will do another European tour soon….?
Then it was time for encore and after that the band entered the stage with the white clothes from “Melodifestivalen”. As expected they performed “Heartbreak Hotel”.
YOHIO told us afterwards that this was a very long concert and that there was 22 songs in the setlist. Wow, that’s much.
YOHIO thanked the band – DESAIHA who have been supporting him all this time and let them perform with their very own song and with their very own vocalist Adrian. It was a nice song.
Then YOHIO and all the other enters the stage with YOHIO’s tour t-shirt. It’s time for the last song SKY☆LiMiT. I believe that’s one of YOHIO’s best songs.
Well, since I was sick I was a bit glad that the show was over now, ’cause I was pretty tired – but happy that I got such a good look of Gackt and it was fun to see YOHIO perform live.
At the cafe I met a sweet girl from Finland who read my blog and that had come all the way from Finland to see YOHIO. That made me happy.
I think YOHIO gives the young fans a great message and I hope he will continue doing well!
